One way we support our cultural values is through our equity-based compensation program. Employee ownership has been a defining characteristic of our firm since we became a public company in 2002. Every employee is an owner. Through restricted stock grants, we align the interests of our employees with those of our clients and our stockholders. Upon visiting Westwood, you will see that our office space also reinforces our culture. It reflects the diversity and personalities of our team members, making it an inviting and productive environment for everyone. Our hallways are lined with photographs taken by our employees. In our two lounges hang photos of family and friends. We celebrate the stability of our team on a “Wall of Service” that features photographs of team members with more than three years of service at Westwood. In addition, we celebrate our community service with awards and photos displayed on our “Westwood Winners” wall of recognition.
