Once you’ve established a relationship with a qualified financial advisor, identified your advisory team and tasked your financial advisor with helping to guide it, the most important thing is sticking to the plan.
Far too often, clients don’t go through the necessary trouble of compiling documents and scheduling time with their advisors only to review what is essentially a snapshot of their complete plan, never again updating or following through on the recommended advice.
As we previously discussed, things change over time. Make it a priority to review and update your financial plan at least annually.
