Mr. Behar joined Westwood in 2023 and is a Senior Vice President and Head of Managed Investment Solutions. The team is responsible for creating outcome-oriented, adaptable and transparent investment solutions designed to address a broad range of evolving client needs.
Mr. Behar has more than 20 years of institutional investment experience in building global teams, existing and new business lines, and new global investment strategies. He most recently served as head of index investment strategy at LGIMA and was responsible for providing investment thought leadership to investors and developing comprehensive investment solutions and insights across the spectrum of index strategies.
Prior to joining LGIMA, Mr. Behar was a senior vice president and head of global equity investment strategy at Northern Trust Asset Management. Before joining Northern Trust, he was a portfolio specialist for the active quantitative equity strategies at Deutsche Asset Management.
Mr. Behar holds a BA in economics from Binghamton University and serves on various index advisory panels.
