Mr. Reid is President of Real Assets and a Senior Portfolio Manager in Westwood’s energy infrastructure complex. He has over 20 years of experience managing energy infrastructure investments. Mr. Reid previously served as chief executive officer of RDG Capital LLC, before it was acquired by Salient in January 2011. Prior to his tenure with RDG Capital LLC, Mr. Reid managed the Houston office for Telemus Capital Partners (Telemus) and worked for 10 years as a senior vice president of Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group, as well as seven years as vice president of Goldman Sachs. He earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 1991 and his BBA from Texas A&M University in 1987.
