Mr. Cruz joined Westwood in 2020 as a Financial Planner and is now working as a Financial Planning Manager and leading the financial planning department at Westwood. Prior to joining Westwood, he spent two years at Wealth Development Strategies, LLC, analyzing client data, and developing and monitoring financial plans. Other responsibilities included evaluating investment holdings and recommending appropriate asset allocations for clients based on their investment objectives, risk tolerance, time horizon and cash-flow needs.
In addition, Mr. Cruz serves as a member of the Education Committee in the Houston FPA.
Mr. Cruz earned his MS in personal financial planning from Texas Tech University in 2018. He is also a CFP professional.
