Mr. Metzler is an Investment Analyst on the Real Estate team at Westwood Salient. Previously, he was an investment analyst for Salient’s former private markets team, where he developed and sourced new investment theses, underwriting, risk management and regular asset allocation exercises. Prior to joining Salient in 2019, Mr. Metzler spent over two years working on the credit risk desk at a prominent regional bank. He began his career as a commercial credit analyst at a firm specializing in lending to the construction industry. Mr. Metzler has a BBA in finance and an MS in data science, both from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Additionally, he received his CFA® designation in 2018 and his CAIA designation in 2020.
